Deputy Chief FHA Underwriter
Andrew Nicoll joined Dwight Capital in September 2014 as a Senior Federal Housing Administration Underwriter. Some of his responsibilities include initial underwriting of all FHA transactions, engagement and review of third party reports, completion of underwriting narratives and forms, and preparation of all HUD Firm Application submissions. Also, he is responsible for maintaining and updating the firm’s FHA Underwriting models and databases.
Andrew brings to Dwight Capital his vast experience of over $200 million in closed transactions throughout the United States. Prior to joining our firm he was an FHA Underwriter at Capital One Multifamily Finance (formerly Beech Street Capital) where he mentored FHA underwriting analysts and assisted the company’s originators in preliminary loan sizing and structuring. He began his career at Metropolitan Funding Corp, a New York based FHA lender, as a Loan Analyst in the underwriting department.
Andrew studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree.
